1Agree offer details with the line manager

Agree the following details, before contacting the successful candidate.Confirm:
– job title (is it still at the same level as originally recruited for)
– working hours
– salary/remuneration
– holiday entitlement
– company benefits
– dress code

Record offer details:

2Verbally offer the successful candidate the job

Call the candidate and offer them the job by phone/or call the recruiter and ask them to put forward the offer to the candidate.Mention:

– dress code

3Write formal offer letter

3.1Populate contract of employment

3.2Send the employment offer letter & contract, request references

Email the candidate directly or via the recruitment agency (as applicable).Email Subject: Offer of EmploymentDear_______________________I am please confirm you offer of employment as [JOB TITLE] commencing on [DATE].Please find attached the formal offer letter and contract of employment.I would be grateful if you would confirm your acceptance of this offer in writing as soon as possible, by signing and returning the contract of employment, along with two referees email addresses that we can contact on your behalf for employment references.If you have any questions, then please let me know.I look forward to hearing from you.

4Receive signed contract of employment and referee email addresses
